Kellen Garner has been an actor on stage and screen for over ten years. As the writer and director of “TangerineLAnd” (2015) The Phoenix native follows that up with the new feature “The View from Here”(2017) and is already prepping his third film,an original western.
As an actor, most of his education came from the stage and he has countless unforgettable roles in comedies, dramas and musicals; Including a bucket list opportunity to play defense Attorney Daniel Kaffee in Zao theatre’s production of Aaron Sorkin’s “A Few Good Men.”As a film actor he made his screen debut in the paranoid noir thriller “Blackout”, and he has been hooked ever since.
Determined to tell stories of his own, he founded Broomhorse Pictures along with his wife and partner, Brigette Garner. Their independent spirit has given them a creative freedom that has attracted some of the industry’smost promising young talent.
When he is not making films, Kellen teaches acting to high school age students, and enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
